District Court Denies Commission’s Motion for Summary Judgment in CREW v. FEC

Washington, DC - - (March 20, 2018) - - The United States District Court for the District of Columbia today issued a Memorandum Opinion and Order denying the Commission’s motion for summary judgment in CREW, et al. v. FEC (Case No. 16-cv-2255 (CRC)) and granted the Plaintiffs’ cross-motion for summary judgment. The Court concluded that the dismissal of CREW’s complaint against the American Action Network in MUR 6589R was contrary to law, remanded the matter to the agency and directed the Commission to conform with the Court’s opinion within 30 days.
