  • Now Is Christ Risen

    20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
    21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
    22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:20-22 - - - in the Holy Bible)
  • Our Justification

    20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
    21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
    22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
    23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
    24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus Christ our Lord from the dead;
    25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. (Romans 4:20-25 - - - in the Holy Bible)

    Surviving the Wild West Days of Information Technology

    By

    Pastor Clarence William Page

    Beware of "Technology Depression"

    During the past thirty years the world has made monumental strides (if not a quantum leap) in the realm of information technology. Average civilians can do things now that, in 1988, seemed only a scientific dream. In spite of the great (and unexpected) progress, there are many dangers.

    We are still in the "wild, wild west" era of information technology. "Computer slingers" can use computers as weapons to destroy the reputation, credibility, employment,

    Thanksgiving By The Numbers

    Thanksgiving Day: Nov. 24, 2016

    October 18, 2016

    Note: The U.S. Census Bureau reminds us of Thanksgiving then (1619) and now (2016). Their number values (listed below) shed light on how far we have come and how much we have (for which we should be very thankful).

    Washington, DC - - October 4, 2016) - - In the fall of 1621, the Pilgrims — early settlers of Plymouth Colony — held a three-day feast to celebrate a bountiful harvest. The legacy of thanks and the feast have survived the centuries, as the event became a national holiday 153 years ago (Oct. 3, 1863) when President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed the last Thursday of November as a national day of thanksgiving. Later, President Franklin Roosevelt clarified that Thanksgiving Day should always be celebrated on the fourth Thursday of the month

  • The Day Charles Spurgeon was Saved

    22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. (Isaiah 45:22 - - - in the Holy Bible)

    It was on a very snowy January 6, 1850 that Charles Spurgeon, cold and miserable, stumbled into a small church on Artillery Street, Newtown, Colchester (Essex) in Britain. It was so snowy until the preacher did not make it to church; rather, a seemingly almost illiterate stand-in "non-preacher" filled in and read and spoke from Isaiah 45:22.

    Charles Spurgeon was Saved that day.

    Charles Spurgeon became a renowned Christian minister.

    23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:22-23 - - - in the Holy Bible)
  • We need help from Heaven

    It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law.  (Psalm 119:126 - - in the Holy Bible)
