Virginia Beach, VA - - (November 25, 2016) - - New Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) in Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Hampton officially open at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, then will operate regular hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Tuesday through Sunday. The centers will be open seven days a week until further notice.
The Virginia Beach DRC remains open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday at the 4100 Virginia Beach Blvd. location.

Survivors who visit the DRCs can also meet with a U.S. Small Business Administration representative to talk about low-interest disaster loans, and talk to a mitigation specialist to get information about filing a flood insurance claim.

The DRCs are accessible to all individuals.

TTY users can call 800-462-7585. Phone lines are open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. EDT until further notice. Help is available in almost any language.
