    This is a HOT summer! We need air conditioning!


    Do you still air condition your home using an air conditioning system that cools using R22 refrigerant?


    Don't know? Better check it quickly! (The label on your unit will likely specify R22 as the installed refrigerant.)


    From our research, in the United States of America, R22 refrigerant is being phased out. This phase-out has been known for decades!!!


    If the homebuilders KNEW about the phaseout, why did they install these units???


    Pity homeowners who need R22 refrigerant installed (especially people on a low fixed income). It appears that R22 refrigerant is not generally available.


    Solution: Replace your unit (IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT)!!! (It appears that retrofitting MIGHT be possible.)
